How we handle your details

Who we are
Datavela Pty Ltd (“Datavela”, “we”), with offices in Melbourne, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand. For anything about your personal information, email info [at] datavela.io.
What we collect on this website
- What you send us. When you use the enquiry form: your name, work email, company, the service you chose and your message.
- How you reached the form. The button you used, the referring site and any campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source), so we know which pages and campaigns bring enquiries.
- Spam protection. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is being sent by a person, using technical signals from your browser. It doesn’t use advertising cookies or track you across sites.
- Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, country and device type in aggregate. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t fingerprint you and doesn’t identify individual visitors.
- Security logs. Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse.
We don’t ask for sensitive information. Please don’t include it in your message.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, keep the website secure and understand which pages and campaigns are useful. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and on steps you ask us to take before a contract. We don’t sell or rent your details, and we don’t add you to mailing lists.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security, spam protection and visit statistics.
- Resend: delivers the enquiry from the website to our inbox.
- Google Workspace: our email, where your enquiry and our replies are kept.
The website itself doesn’t keep a copy of your enquiry. These providers may process data in countries outside Australia and Thailand, including the United States. We use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people from bots. It contains no personal profile and expires within a short time. Fonts and images are served from our own site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, object to how we use them, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info [at] datavela.io. We’ll reply within 30 days.
We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), where they apply. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee (pdpc.or.th).
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
